Fleet Tracking Company Blue Sky Network Earns STC for Bombardier Dash 8

Industry leading tracking solutions extend reliable communications to Dash 8 aircraft operators and managers

La Jolla, Calif., July 1, 2008 – Blue Sky Network , a leading global provider of mobile asset management and fleet management solutions using GPS tracking , today announced it has received a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) from the Federal Aviation Administration for installation of its D1000C and ACH1000 kits on Bombardier DHC-8-201 aircraft.  The certified Blue Sky Network equipment provides Dash 8 operators enhanced communication between managers and crew from anywhere in the world, adding safety and tracking capabilities to increase security and efficiency.

Blue Sky Network’s D1000C offers near real-time tracking of fleets through built-in GPS position reporting combined with an Iridium satellite transceiver and telemetry data link. The ACH1000 communications control head adds voice communication and two-way messaging connectivity between operators and the control center. Managers are also able to visually track aircraft and view take-off, landing and other flight updates using SkyRouter, Blue Sky Network’s secure online web portal.
