Southeast Aerospace Forges Alliance with Blue Sky Network for Advanced Satellite Tracking Solutions
An alliance that took place between Blue Sky Network and Southeast Aerospace has the potential to transform the way special mission and civilian aircrafts are monitored. The alliance, according to the partnering companies, is aimed at offering the aviation industry a one-stop global shop for advanced satellite aircraft tracking, professional installation, and certification for aerospace applications.
Under the alliance, Southeast Aerospace (SEA), a company engaged in avionics installations and retrofitting, is entitled to install Blue Sky Network’s advanced satellite tracking solutions in the civilian and special mission aircraft, making monitoring of geographically dispersed mobile assets easier for the military and civilian aircraft operators.
Under the alliance, SEA will equip the aircrafts with a comprehensive fleet management solution that includes the newly launched SkyRouter cloud-based Web-portal, Iridium (News – Alert) services and other hardware from Blue Sky Network.
Incorporated into Southeast Aerospace installations, this fleet management technology will ease up the process of remote deployment of mobile assets and will help the SEA clients to achieve seamless command and control across multiple asset types. In addition, the Blue Sky solutions are expected to enable increased safety and fleet efficiency with pole-to-pole coverage.
SEA is going to offer the latest satellite tracking hardware in combination with the New SkyRouter to the clients involved in special missions, air transport, and high tech aircraft projects, a news statement reveled. Both private and governmental aircrafts are going to be benefitted from this alliance.
Blue Sky’s technology has been used in several special mission and military aircrafts in the past. According to the company website, its solutions leverage the benefits of the Iridium satellite network to allow its communication devices and services to work globally via the world’s furthest reaching network.
“Southeast Aerospace prides itself on our expertise and experience in avionics installations. We strive to offer the best service and latest technology in avionics to our clients and that includes communication solutions. We chose Blue Sky Network because they are well-known and trusted within the aviation industry. Their satellite tracking products enable our customers with the most advanced fleet management system and we are pleased to have the opportunity to offer the solution in our installations,” vice president of sales and marketing of Southeast Aerospace, Joe Braddock, noted in a statement.
Few months back, Blue Sky Network launched its New SkyRouter mobile application, a fleet management portal for land mobile, aviation, and marine applications. This cloud-based solution is designed to support connectivity with remotely dispersed mobile assets including Blue Sky Network’s advanced dual-mode GSM and Iridium tracking and communication services. With the New SkyRouter application, fleet managers are provided around-the-clock connectivity with assets via most Android (News – Alert) or iOS mobile phones or tablets.
